Pursuit of Dreams

The other day one of my best friends sent this picture to me and said, “Esun, I know you aren’t looking at the car. You’re probably looking at all the trees and the snow and probably thinking what a great hunting spot it would be. lolz.”

It’s true.

Listening to a solemn song Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber  “so full of pathos that it rarely leaves a dry eye”.

It moved me when I watched this movie Crime of the Century which covered the infamous Charles Lindbergh case and possibly sent the wrong person to the death penalty.  I think the real crime is not going with where your heart is.  This guy is incredible.  He could have tried to be something like a kickboxer without the boxing, so a kicker. A Soccer player maybe.  Don’t artists usually use their hands and fingers?  Why an artist?  Crocs are pretty incredible, too.

A large part of Pursuit of Food is really Pursuit of Dreams.  Pursuing work and pursuing Nature. Melding Passion + work.

“If you have no confidence in self, you are twice defeated in the race of life. With confidence, you have won even before you have started.”

~Marcus Garvey

A history of oppression, denial, injustice, and abuse has been the greatest detriment to people of color. We have listened so long to what we cannot do that we have very little confidence in what we can do. It is this lack of confidence, not racism, hatred, lack of education, or social injustice that creates the greatest deterrent to our progress. One of the best-kept secrets in life is when children of God make up their minds, when they bring their minds into harmony with the desire in their hearts, when they pray for and follow intuitive guidance; then no one and nothing can stop them-no matter what color they may be. Confidence and a made-up mind are the stuff kings and queens are made of.

~Thomas Nakanishi

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord”

-Colossians 3:23

I was told today that if I were there when Jesus were around we might be really good homies. John 21 he tells where to catch the fish (and they caught 153). John 6 he feeds 5000 people!  How amazing.

Pursue Food, and Feed People.
